Misfortune was shot on super 16mm film over two long, but very fun nights in the fall of 2002 in Tallahassee, FL.

Misfortune went on to win Kevin Spacey’s Triggerstreet Film Festival and was screened at the 2004 Sundance Film Festival. That screening was, by the way, a stop on my cross country trip as I moved to LA. Not a bad way to arrive in LA, huh? The Triggerstreet win also lead to an article about me in Vanity Fair Magazine. Not too bad…
